Mr. Liu Dafu was born in Sichuan in 1954. He held a master's degree, worked as an engineer, and founded both Sichuan Xianpai Ganoderma Group and the "Xianpai" brand. He had been on the battlefield, engaged in business, and led a life of military service.
As the eldest son of Liu Xianhe, a renowned Chinese agricultural entrepreneur, Mr. Liu grew up in a poor family. He independently succeeded in making gunpowder, which he used for hunting; he then sold the prey to cover his own and his younger brother's tuition fees as well as the family's various expenses. He tried to enlist in the military seven times, and finally succeeded in January 1975. He participated in the Self-Defense Counterattack War in 1979, and graduated from Northwest Institute of Architectural Engineering in 1988. In 1989, he took part in martial law support work. During his military career, he held successive positions including soldier, administrative platoon leader, barracks assistant, barracks section chief, barracks department head, and political commissar of a group army (with the military rank of colonel) in the Chengdu Military Region. He was awarded the Third-Class Merit five times and received multiple commendations in the military. He was also hailed by PLA Daily as the "self-taught military camp designer" and was sent by the military to further his studies at Northwest Institute of Architectural Engineering. During that period, he spent his spare time and went through hardships to develop the "An'du" brand rapid fattening agent for pigs, which caused a sensation across the country. This product shortened the time required to fatten a pig from the original one year to approximately three and a half months. In the 1980s, it kicked off the era of rapid pig farming in China, promoted the development of China's pig industry, and made efforts to help millions of rural households shake off poverty and become prosperous. Later, he founded "Andu Group" which focused on feed additives as its core business. His father, Liu Xianhe, became one of the typical figures featured in CCTV's Shenzhou Style program, and he himself was named a news figure in CCTV's Son of the East program, making the whole family well-known nationwide.
In 1992, he collaborated with Professor Xu Yizhong, a technical consultant of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), to successfully launch the "Xianpai Ganoderma Tea" after years of scientific research, hoping to benefit human health with Ganoderma, a legendary herb with a history of thousands of years. In 1998, he established "Xianpai Ganoderma Group", which became China's first technology-driven group enterprise specializing in Ganoderma R&D. To this day, Xianpai Ganoderma Tea, as a well-known national product, has served tens of millions of Chinese households.
After applying multiple times and obtaining approval from the organization, he, who was then the political commissar of a regiment in the People's Liberation Army, took off his military uniform in 1999, ending his 24-year military career. Carrying the honor and character of a soldier, he devoted himself to the economic construction under the reform and opening-up policy, writing a new legend on another "battlefield". He often taught us: "Honor belongs to the past, and it also places higher demands on us."
In 2001, he established the "Rehabilitation Home", which has been serving a large number of cancer patients and other special groups to this day. In 2004, he was named "Outstanding Private Technology Entrepreneur of China" by the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce and was appointed as a "Member of the China Private Enterprise Culture Construction Committee". Starting from 2005, he served as Vice Chairman of the Chengdu Federation of Industry and Commerce; starting from 2008, he served as Standing Committee Member of the Chengdu Municipal Political Consultative Conference. He was selected as one of the "First Batch of Outstanding Demobilized and Retired Soldiers in Sichuan Province" by the Publicity Department of the Sichuan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Political Department of the Sichuan Military Region. The enterprises he led also won multiple honors, including "Top 50 Chinese Health Food Enterprises in 2000", "Excellent Private Technology Enterprise in China", and "Demonstration Unit for Cultural Construction", and became a leading enterprise in China's Ganoderma health product industry.
Since 1992, after years of trials and hardships, the brand he founded has no longer been just a synonym for a health product, but a symbol of the spirit of safeguarding health. "Xianpai Yunji" was thus born with a mission, opening a new chapter and journey in the new Internet era. Carrying the past honors and new missions, it provides customers with more professional health services.
In April 2018, Mr. Liu Dafu unfortunately passed away in Chengdu at the age of 64, bringing an end to his legendary life. shinpirewill inherit his behest and spirit, and continue to contribute to the cause of human health!
